He trained in documentary filmmaking at the EICTV in Cuba and at the Instituto del Cine in Madrid. His recent work focuses on situations of homelessness and social hardship. After a job scam left him with nothing, he found shelter inside Madrid&#8217;s Barajas Airport \u2014 which, for months, took in hundreds of people each night with nowhere else to go. Away from the postcard, the film gives itself to Ibiza&#8217;s older and stranger nature \u2014 wild, elegant, seductive \u2014 a place that draws you in and, like Homer&#8217;s island of the lotus-eaters, quietly refuses to let you leave.
